Ans: A blog is your easy-to-use web site, where you can quickly post thoughts, interact with people, and more. It is like an online journal.

Q3: Can I blog via email on the Blogger service?

Ans: Yes, click on your blogname on the Blogger Dashboard > click on Settings tab > click on Email subtab > enter a secret password in the Mail-to-Blogger-Address and check the publish button there. Then you can send email to yourname.secret@blogger.com and it will automatically get posted to your blog.

Q4: Is there a desktop application to send blog entries?

Ans: Yes, check out w.bloggar (new window). It uses Blogger (and other) API services to upload messages to various blogging services.
One of the best desktop applications to post to (multiple) blogs is MultiBlog (new window). It allows posting to multiple blogger/livejournal and other Blogger-API supportable blogs. Clean GUI, easy configuration and amazing functionality.

Ans: Use Blogrolling (new window) - a link manager that lets you store links and display them on your blog in alphabetical or chronological order.

Q7: Can I make money on my blog?

Ans: Use Google Adsense (new window) to display some text ar graphic ads. You get paid a small amount every time some click on those boxes. If you have lots of traffic, use Blogads (new window).
