Tip 1 ----- Whenever the situation permits, throw out skirmishers ahead of your main body of troops to slow the enemy's advance. Tip 2 ----- Night turns are best used to deploy newly arrived units and rebuild shattered fronts. However, units moving at night should do so in column formation; otherwise, they likely will suffer the effects of disruption.
